Wow! That was creative! I have been scribbling in dribs and drabs all over the place. I intend to calculate my word count later tonight and find out what sort of Herculean effort will be required to hit 10K tomorrow with no sleep tonight!

10k in 10 Days ChallengeJan 15 to Jan 24, 2017 08,565 / 10,000 - chrisk 01 545 / 10 000 - ceruleanblue 02,288 / 10,000 - Elizabeth 00,327 / 10,000 - FWG
I should only need a moderately Perseus-ian (Persian) effort to reach 10k tomorrow! And definitely sleep.

I rallied with 1200-ish words tonight, and I'm looking at 6350 words tomorrow....maybe? This is the dumbest way to do the challenge, but idiocy being a theme of the month so far....why not? ETA WOOO I made it into the hotel??? YAY

10k in 10 Days ChallengeJan 15 to Jan 24, 2017 10,095 / 10,000 - chrisk 04 311 / 10 000 - ceruleanblue 03,650 / 10,000 - Elizabeth 00,327 / 10,000 - FWG
And already over...! I wonder how it still went for you? I didn't reach the goal at all (well maybe I could have in my own language?) but I did finish the two chapters I wanted! Writing patchwork in begun chapters wasn't exactly helpful for racing along, either, I guess. Still, I enjoyed the challenge very much! 10 Days are easier to fit into other things than a whole month, right? This makes me think we should do something like that more often?

The days of not-writing in the middle got me down, but I made it past the halfway point, and I'm not far from my goal for the month, so yay!?
