(Admins: this seemed the best place for this thread/mssg, but I totally understand if you see fit to move it to a different location) I wanted to let Stringing Words know about the following call for submissions for a project I'm editing and ask everyone who wants to, to share the info with other writers or on other groups/boards/blogs you might be a part of. There's been a very limited response thus far so we're trying to get the word out and grow the slush pile! A Winter's Enchantment, planned anthology from World Weaver Press, seeks romance novellas which capture the magic of the holiday season and/or winter romances with speculative elements (e.g. magic, paranormal creatures, gateways to other worlds etc.). 20,000-40,000 words, flexible. Pays royalties. More info: worldweaverpress.com/submissions/calls-for-anthologies (second listing on the page). I'm happy to answer questions. And thanks in advance to anyone who shares the info!

What's the submission deadline? For A Winter's Enchantment, seeking winter romance novellas, the deadline is Dec. 31. There is a call for sci fi open January 1 – March 31, for pieces up to 10K. I'm not editing this one, but it is listed on the same page as it's the same press putting out both projects. And I'm happy to spread the word about both!
