The same for me! It fits my goal to write about two more chapters this month perfectly, but is a more clearly defined goal, in a way, and asks for more speed!
So happy you guys like to join us!

Day 7 of the 10k in 10 Days ChallengePack your thermos and your favorite sandwiches, as today we will be out all day for the SATURDAY ICE SAILING FRENZY! Make sure to be down at the lake until 10am and find the hidden pier 9 3/4. You'll see all the lake is frozen when you get there. The training lesson will start for 100 words! Up to eight people fit into such a big boat like the training one, not more! After the lesson, every further hour of sailing as a passenger will cost another 100 words. But we want to each sail our own boat by then, and feel the wind blow our sail, right? Will your sail be white, or red, or brown? Or will there be something written on it, like a motto? Let us know! Sails up and moving! The private boat will be yours for 250 words already! Ahoi! 500 words and you will have made it across the lake! How do you feel? Should we have some lunch now before we start competitions? What makes you recover best today? Did anyone bring treats to share? Ask for sprints in the shoutbox all day! And now it's time for winning your first race! 1000 words for each winner! How did the experience feel? Did you espy something extraordinary at the horizon? All is so white and clear today, and the fresh air in your lungs sharpens your vision, also your fantasy! Please let us be part of what you find on this special day! But the one who will make it as fast as 1500+ words will win the whole tournament! For that one (or that team) a splendid dinner is waiting tonight, when we all get back home to the cabin! I think you know what that would consist of to make the effort worth it, right? So? And off we go!

Thanks for sharing this with us, Cerulean Blue! Hmm... oh, I thought I'd reached 500, but only 484 words from yesterday I guess. Hmm... I guess that means I need to share my boat with a very small friend?

Right, or we should probably pick you up at the far end of the lake by now? Thanks for ice sailing with me, it was fun!

Okay, I know most of us have to work today, but I have to organize another event for the 10 Day Winter Camp today, so I thought I might quite as well share it with you. Maybe anyone wants to visit there sometime during the day for some HQ words? Day 9 is the second last day of the 10 Day Winter Camp already, so we might spend the morning in a little wistful mood on the cabin backporch from where you can overlook the lake. Put on your oldest mittens and come out to join me for an Ice Sculpting Day!
Bring some of the old, rusty cookie tin boxes, also some yarn, as we can use them to make ice disks! The morning sun is shining onto the porch, and it will be enjoyable to start with something small and easy. Each ice disk will be worth 100 words. We can leave them to freeze on the table while we gather buckets and fill them with flowers and water. Like that we'll have ice lanterns by the time it gets dark tonight! 250 words for a lantern! Now we really want to know how the actual ice carving thing works, right? So grab your scarves and hats, we leave the lanterns to freeze and walk down to the village, where the ice artist's workshop is. She will give us a basic introduction lesson for 500, during which each can create one smaller object of their own. What will yours be? I imagine to sit in that ice carriage the artist has made to explain... Will there be little ice bells ringing when it drives? As the afternoon passes, we are getting better and better. Are you ready for a masterpiece of 700? I wish I could make a whole ice castle... Maybe we could get that done together? But I didn't tell you everything yet... As, if we are really good, we might even spend the night out at the ice hotel. Well, dinner will cost 800, and 1000 per room, but wouldn't that be awesome for once?
