My cabin is at least semi active this year, but not quite as much as I'd like. Anyone else doing Camp NaNo and want to chat about their progress here?

Sure! Lots of us are camping, I think?
Uh, I'm planning to finish my page-a-day project this month. Interested to see what happens if I try to pick up the pace. Basically, the plan means writing 45 pages this month. Not too bad! I'm guestimating that will mean 22 500 words.
What's your goal, Rinelle?

I've set my goal at 30k. I think that should bring me pretty close to the end of the novel. If not, I'll try to keep pushing to the end! Still a little concerned it will be shorter than I'd like it, but so long as I at least make 60k, I think I should be write. It doesn't 'read' short, so perhaps I'm just being more concise?

Is this your threequel? Exciting to think it will all be done soon! I wouldn't worry about precise length. So long as it's telling a complete story, I would think readers would be happy.

Yep, this is the third book in my series. I think there will be at least a couple more, not sure exactly how many yet.
I so don't feel like writing today. Been out at the beach today, and I'm sunburnt, and blow away, (it was VERY windy). It won't hurt to miss a day, will it?

Nope. I didn't write yesterday. Got up early (for me) to attend a day-long workshop on facilitating meditation, which was great, but it was eight hours of sitting in a hardbacked chair and paying attention. I was knackered by the end of it, got home, tried to write, and ended up surfing the web. Always sign #1 that I am way too tired. Sometimes you have to respect the crash.

Yeah, I think so. I was 500 words ahead or so, so it wasn't that bad.
Trouble is, I haven't written today yet either.

Catching up, even though I keep missing days. I'm determined to make my word count, so I just keep soldiering on.
How are you going?

I've been writing every day, but I'm still behind a little. Hopefully will catch up over the weekend! Either that or redefine my goal.

I'm sort of writing? I'm thinking about writing right now, or going to bed. I'll try to write a page.

I'm kind of skipping a day, then writing like crazy the next day to catch up. Sort of working. I'm only a few thousand words behind. The good news is that I know where I'm going. I have a rough idea of where the rest of the book is going, and how to get to 'the end', so hopefully I'll make it.

Yay, Rinelle! I quit the A to Z challenge in favour of my novel, have been piddling away at a relatively slow rate, but did 1500 words last night. Feeling back on track.

Yeah, I decided not to do A to Z this year, because I just knew I couldn't do both.
I'm feeling like I'm making progress, and that the end of the novel is in sight. I had this plan of trying to get 10k over the Easter long weekend, and getting closer, but everything just keeps getting in my way, so I think I'll go back to soldiering on. At least it works, and it's less frustrating!

How's everyone going?
I was on a roll today. Hit the climax of my novel, and wrote 6k! I think that's a personal record.
I'm less than 1k off my goal now, and on the final chapter of my story. I really really want to push on and finish the book tonight, but I'm too tired. Don't want to rush it. Hopefully tomorrow.
I don't think I've ever won NaNo and finished a novel at the same time before. It's kind of a rush.
